Using the AMX switching solution multi-users on multi-platform computers can remotely access information stored on multiple servers. All connections between the users and servers are made using inexpensive CAT5 cable. This makes it possible to make use of your existing structured cabling system and allows users to be situated up to 300m from the servers.

The AMX solution offers real-time access and the optimal video resolution required for computers used in graphic design and image intensive environments, and is highly scalable meaning the solution can grow as more servers and users are added. Users only have access to the computers that an administrator has assigned them rights to. This makes it ideal for use in Media Suite Applications where customers can be assigned rights for each session.

- External control of an nVision audio/video router: Allows post production users, using computers to manipulate their video or audio, to switch the KVM of the computer to their desks using the AMX and the TV/high fidelity audio of the computer to their desks using the nVision.
- AMWorks Software: Providing detailed audit logs, AMWorks allows administrators to quickly update any firmware to any part of the system, set user permissions, change channel names etc.
